Great product, but read this before buying.

Easy to install, easy to understand and most importantly it's a well made product. But there are some problems you might want to consider before buying this item. Sometimes when you start up your car, it doesn't detect Carlinkit and you have to unplug and plug in again. Another problem is that sometimes when you are listening to a song it has minor lags. Other than that it's nice.

The audio was very choppy and I had to set up automation on my phone to get it to connect in the driveway. I switched to Ottocast and have had no problems

It works well for Android Auto but there's an issue with watching videos with carstream and this was the primary reason for buying this product for me. There was no mention of this conflict when I researched it. I should have done more research but the company should make it more obvious.

Doesn't work with iPhone and no customer support

Although Carlinkit purports to work with Nissan Leaf, for the iPhone it does not. Customer support is missing in action: no response, much less any help. Works fine with Android, but I bought it because it also claimed to support iPhone.
