Excellent addition to my Tesla

Everything that I have in my cell now I have it in my Tesla, the only downside is that sometimes for no reason gets disconnected but most times comes back by itself.

Disappointing

I puerchased the Carlinkit2 for my Tesla and the device did not work of the box. I came needing a firmware upgrade which doing the upgrade the process stopped at 79%. Thinking it was stuck I ended the update. That made it impossible to connect to the device via the admin browser ip address. Support sent me a very confusing file to use to reset the device. Which required a PC which I don't own. I borrowed a po and could not get the process to work. Contacting support got me no where as I don't speak Chinese and they don't really speak English. So I have a worthless device that I have paid for but does not work. Plus I had to spend more money on another companies unit which aggravates the situation. So do not buy Carlink as support is weak and not very helpful. I wishI could get my money back.

Difficult to connect but works ok after fussing with it every drive. Reached out to support and got no response.

Works but doesnt

If all you want to see is a CarPlay screen then this is for you. The functionality is not there. It is not native to Tesla so voice commands don’t work. I didn’t return it because I don’t feel like I would actually get my money back.

Doesn’t connect easily need to reset the wifi and the Bluetooth almost every time
