Slow connection

The instruction was not clear. Also, not as plug and play. Set up and link is slow and not convenient.

IT STOPPED WORKING ON THE SECOND DAY. ALL FOUR LIGHTS KEEP FLASHING RED. FAQ SAYS FIRMWARE UPDATE NEEDED. TRIED TO DO THE UPDATE. THE SLOPPY SOFTWARE PHOENIXSUIT IS SAME PIECE OF CRAP, CANNOT GET THE "BURN" DONE...

Excellent addition to my Tesla

Everything that I have in my cell now I have it in my Tesla, the only downside is that sometimes for no reason gets disconnected but most times comes back by itself.

Disappointing

I puerchased the Carlinkit2 for my Tesla and the device did not work of the box. I came needing a firmware upgrade which doing the upgrade the process stopped at 79%. Thinking it was stuck I ended the update. That made it impossible to connect to the device via the admin browser ip address. Support sent me a very confusing file to use to reset the device. Which required a PC which I don't own. I borrowed a po and could not get the process to work. Contacting support got me no where as I don't speak Chinese and they don't really speak English. So I have a worthless device that I have paid for but does not work. Plus I had to spend more money on another companies unit which aggravates the situation. So do not buy Carlink as support is weak and not very helpful. I wishI could get my money back.
